If you are looking for an exciting blend of rock and roll shaken with pop influences, then look no further than Crash Coordinates.

Crash Coordinates began when Chris Kalla and Chris Wahl were looking for a fun way to break the monotony of being full time students at Arizona State University. As their passion for music grew, Kevin Williams (Bass) and Jon Stoddard (Drums) were added to create the final line up for the band. At first they found trouble bringing their wide variety of musical influences together, but the band found common ground in artists such as Jimmy Eat World and Weezer.

“It started out as something a bunch of kids were doing for fun,” says guitarist Chris Wahl. “It seemed the longer we played music the more it became the only thing we wanted to do.” Crash Coordinates has survived throughout pursuing school and working full time. “All of us were extremely busy either working or being in school or both,” says front man Chris Kalla. “We didn’t have the luxury of being able to pour 100% of our time into this band, and because of that it made us work so much harder with what we had.” From choosing to skip school to make it to out-of-state shows, or staying up late to promote the band five nights a week, Crash Coordinates shows the true meaning of hard work.

Crash Coordinates has two successful CD’s that were released independently and they will be releasing their third titled “Echo Theory” this July. “We are extremely excited for this record,” says bassist Kevin Williams. “We think it really shows how far we have come since we first started and that we love music too much to ever give up.”

Crash Coordinates is touring throughout the US, all the while continuing to write new music and to hone their craft.
